It's no secret that Downtown Charleston's a great place to walk or ride a bike.  Even for casual bikers, it's pretty easy to get around.

But what if you don't live downtown?  Or if you do, ever wanted to ride off the peninsula?  For a weekend adventure, what if you could safely ride from downtown to Folly Beach?  Or Sullivans Island to West Ashley, or anywhere in between?

The Battery2Beach initiative by Charleston Moves is gearing to do just that.  The plan is to connect all of Charleston's beaches with safe biking paths into downtown.

Dockview and Slant Media are teaming up with Obviouslee Marketing to support the effort with a video, soon to be released on the Battery2Beach website.  Just curious... does anyone know how to fix an old chain that keeps falling off?
